Tea Ceremony

Tea has a long history in Japan. It’s politics, culture, and government (yes, government) has been, in one way or another, influenced by it. It takes 15 years for someone to be a master – and each movement symbolizes something.

We were blessed to be given the opportunity to take part of a tea ceremony, served by the masters.

Apparently tea ceremony isn’t for me.

The Kanji means something I don’t remember.

I loved the garden though. 🙂
