coz i’m feeling nostalgic.
1:03am, Feb 25, 2017 (because at this point I think the time is a pretty important factor)
In the past 18 months, there were quite a lot of changes in my life. I quit my job, left my home country and moved to totally different world – jumping from a third world country to a first world one. I went to grad school, globe trotted a little bit (for what we call in business school as “networking”), and got a job in a traditional Japanese company. In other words, moving my entire life. But how different have things been?

Considering how COLD Otaru was in the peak of winter, I can only stay outside for around two hours, at which point I have to find a place to warm myself up. Where else to go but a place that boasts of the hot chocolate?
Ok, so this is not really such a big story. But I LOVED it. It’s my first time to be upgraded to a SUITE, and I just want to share the pictures.
So I come in right? Exhausted, and in a I’m-forcing-myself-to-be-happy mood. I booked a small room with two beds. I come in and saw this.
The smart girl that I am, my gut reaction was – there’s no bed?! Oh, GRRRRRRR – wait, there’s a room.
Whoa. We have a room! Wait, is that – is that a LA-Z BOY!
Oh shoot it is! And the bathroom!
It’s bigger than my unit back home! and there’s a huge glass where you can see the bedroom. For reasons.
PS, to my huge disappointment, the jaccuzzi does NOT work. But I’m still happy. Haha.
Well, since I’m done going gaga, here’s a decent picture of the living area:
And the kitchen. Behind it is the small CR (yes, we have two!)
Well that’s it. Haha. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, honestly. We had far too much problems with it. It wasn’t clean, there was theft, etc etc. I just wanted to share my first suite experience, coz yes, it’s all about me. ^___^

Look at them waddling in their onesies!!! Aren’t they the cutest?????
I’m a tad busy lately so I couldn’t update the blog – I might start doing the blog after three or six weeks.
Meanwhile, I was looking for a way to upload pics and decided to try instagram. Boy that IS fun.
I surprisingly received a JPY2,000 bill, which is pretty rare. So here are all the Japanese bills from the measly (or not) JPY1,000 to the JPY10,000:
Collected on February 28, 2017. Unfortunately, I had to use the JPY2,000 to pay for the bus ride on March 2, 2017. T.T

Tried sitting on them – and I remember the video of Adam Levine saying “my biscuits are burning!” haha
